Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Lingfeng to explain what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

What we collect

• Account: email address and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name.
• Birth chart: date, approximate time, and city of birth — used to compute your Bazi (Four Pillars).
• Property data: Hong Kong address, floor, year of construction, and any floor plan you upload.
• Usage: reports you generate, plan tier, and basic device/browser telemetry needed to keep the service running.

How we use it

We use your information solely to generate feng shui readings, save them to your dashboard, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that make Lingfeng work: our hosting and database provider, our payments provider, the AI model that generates report text, and Google Maps (when we geocode an address). Each is contractually bound to use the data only for the service they provide to us.

Retention

We keep your account and reports until you ask us to delete them. Email hello@lingfeng.hk with the subject "Delete my data" and we will remove your account and reports within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the PDPO you may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Contact hello@lingfeng.hk.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
